Reminder, after this weekend’s games, ALL teams should expect to have a game scheduled on March 1st. For those that don’t advance to the semi-final matchups, the March 1st game will be your final game of the season. For the four teams that advance to the semi-finals, they will skate on 3/8 in the finals or consolation game as well. Heading into next weekend, Neon and Gold have locked up a spot, and the other two spots need this weekend’s games to play out to determine. Here are the updated playoff standings after last week.
| Place | Team | Points | Seed |
| 1 | Neon | 4 | 1 |
| 2 | Gold | 4 | 3 |
| 3 | Teal | 3 | 2 |
| 4 | Orange | 3 | 5 |
| 5 | Green | 2 | 4 |
| 6 | Purple | 2 | 7 |
| 7 | Yellow | 2 | 9 |
| 8 | Black | 0 | 6 |
| 9 | Red | 0 | 8 |
| 10 | Silver | 0 | 10 |
This week of the playoffs opens at 5:00 PM with a rematch of Red and Gold. Two ties in their regular season meetings means this game will decide the series, but Gold has secured its spot and Red will not be able to advance. Gold will finish 1st or 2nd with a W, and 3rd or 4th with an L, so seeding matters.
Next up is Neon and Silver at 6:00. Neon dominated the regular season series, and a win here will secure the top seed in the semi finals. A loss will leave them securely advancing, eventually landing 2nd to 4th. Silver will not advance, seeking their first win against the dominant Neon squad.
After these games we get into the teams fighting for the other two spots. First up is a Purple versus Green rematch at 7:00, two teams who need to win to get in, but also need someone to help them out. Green and Purple tied in both of their regular season meetings, and a win here will have the winner sticking around the rest of the night with rooting interests. The winner will be rooting for Yellow against Teal, and Black against Orange. Both go their way and they finish 3rd, one goes their way and they finish 4th, neither go their way and they are the first out.
Next up is Teal and Yellow at 8:00. Teal swept Yellow in the regular season, and a complete sweep with a win here will secure their spot in the next round. A Yellow win is interesting, if Green and Purple tied, they are in, or if Black beats Orange in the next game, they also advance!
Ending this round of the playoffs is Black and Orange at 9:00. Black edged out Orange 1-0-1 in the regular season, but Orange getting its first win in this series will secure their advancing. Black can not advance, but this game could be the decider between Green, Orange, Purple, or Yellow!
To recap, Teal and Orange control their ability to claim the last two spots, with the winner between Green or Purple in position to claim it if either falter, and Yellow with a win and an Orange loss.
